This is my family's favorite Greek dish. Lamb is marinated overnight, then threaded onto skewers and grilled. The meat is served on a pita bread with a zesty, garlicky yogurt sauce. This can be served with a Greek salad and rice pilaf.
This zesty marinade is fit for any barbeque. It leaves meat tender and extra juicy with a little kick after each bite. Whiskey and habanero sauce create a little spark that's hard to extinguish. For a little sweetness, add 2 tablespoons molasses to the mixture.
This is a mix between salsa and bruschetta, it's always a hit at parties and picnics. I made this up for my family, 1/2 of them love Italian food and the other 1/2 loves Mexican food. This salsa seems to satisfy all of them.
Fool your guests with this mock apple pie that can be made with saltines. Break them into pieces, pile them into a waiting crust and top with a lemon-infused syrup that magically makes the crackers taste like apples.
Fresh jalapeno peppers are stuffed with a creamy Cheddar cheese filling, wrapped in bacon, and grilled until the bacon is browned and the peppers are hot. Make them on the side of your grill while you grill your burgers or dogs in the center.
Lots of crispy bacon is tossed with hot, buttered noodles, whipped egg and cream, and a generous measure of Parmesan cheese to make this delicious classic. Stir until the heat of the pasta cooks the eggs, then serve with parsley and ground pepper.
A creamy potato and white bean soup, with turmeric, cayenne pepper, curry powder and soy sauce. Instant potato flakes are added at the end of cooking, along with whole milk and half and half, for very thick and hearty soup.
